1. Money deposited in escrow is not subject to execution or attachment on any claim against the escrow agent or agency. 2. An escrow agent or agency shall not knowingly keep or cause to be kept any money in any bank, credit union or other financial institution under any name designating the money as belonging to the clients of any escrow agent or agency, unless the money was actually entrusted to the agent or agency by the client for deposit in escrow.
