1. A person, or any general partner, director, officer, agent or employee of a person, who violates any provision of NRS 645B.165 to 645B.180, inclusive, is guilty of: (a) A misdemeanor if the amount involved is less than $650; (b) A gross misdemeanor if the amount involved is $650 or more but less than $1,000; or (c) A category D felony if the amount involved is $1,000 or more, and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130. 2. In addition to any other penalty, if a person is convicted of or enters a plea of nolo contendere to a violation described in subsection 1, the court shall order the person to pay: (a) Court costs; and (b) Reasonable costs of the investigation and prosecution of the violation.
