The board of county commissioners of a county or the governing body of a city may, by ordinance, prohibit any person from advertising within its respective jurisdiction as a junk dealer or a secondhand dealer unless the person holds a valid license or registration to engage in such a business within the jurisdiction. The county or city may require that the number of the person’s business license or state business identification number be included in such advertising. (Added to NRS by 1991, 788)
