1. A license as a polygraphic examiner or intern is not required under this chapter of a person who conducts polygraphic examinations solely in the performance of official duties for a federal, state, county or municipal law enforcement or investigative agency. 2. Persons who are exempt pursuant to subsection 1 shall comply with all other provisions of this chapter. 3. Persons who are exempt and who meet the requirements of this chapter for a license as a polygraphic examiner or intern may apply to the Board for certification of their qualifications for a license in the same manner as prescribed for licensing.
