1. Any person who, on July 1, 1967, is duly and regularly licensed to conduct the business of private detective or act in the capacity of private detective under the laws of this State shall not be required to secure an additional license under this chapter. Any person so licensed shall for all purposes be considered licensed under this chapter for the license period and shall be subject to all provisions thereof. 2. This chapter shall not be construed to interfere with the right of any person to continue to use the business name under which such person was validly licensed on July 1, 1967. 3. Any person who on July 1, 1967, is lawfully engaged in this State in any of the occupations required to be licensed under this chapter may be so licensed or may renew such license without regard to any qualification of education or experience prescribed by this chapter, but must possess all other qualifications required.
