1. No collection agency may operate its business without a compliance manager who holds a valid compliance manager’s certificate issued under the provisions of this chapter. 2. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, a compliance manager must not be employed as a compliance manager by more than one collection agency or employed by a collection agency and an exempt entity at the same time. A compliance manager may be simultaneously employed as a compliance manager by a collection agency and an affiliate of that collection agency. (Added to NRS by 1969, 830; A 1983, 1717; 2023, 3600)
