1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 442.325, a licensed laboratory may release the results of tests performed at the laboratory regarding a patient of a rural hospital only to: (a) The patient; (b) The physician who ordered the tests; and (c) A provider of health care who is currently treating or providing assistance in the treatment of the patient. 2. As used in this section: (a) 'Provider of health care' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 629.031. (b) 'Rural hospital' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 449.0177.
