The Board may refuse to issue or to renew or may suspend or revoke any certificate or license for any one or a combination of the following causes: 1. If the applicant, certified court reporter or licensee has by false representation obtained or sought to obtain a certificate or license for himself, herself or itself or any other natural person or business entity. 2. If the applicant, certified court reporter or designated representative of a court reporting firm has been found in contempt of court, arising out of the conduct of the applicant, court reporter or designated representative in performing or attempting to perform any act as a certified court reporter. 3. If the applicant, certified court reporter or designated representative of a court reporting firm has been convicted of a crime related to the qualifications, functions and responsibilities of a certified court reporter or licensee. 4. If the applicant, certified court reporter or designated representative of a court reporting firm has been convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude. The judgment of conviction or a certified copy of the judgment is conclusive evidence of conviction of an offense.
