The rule that statutes in derogation of the common law are to be strictly construed has no application to this chapter. This chapter must be liberally construed to give maximum effect to the principle of freedom of disposition and to the enforceability of trust instruments. This chapter will control over any contrary provisions of law. (Added to NRS by 2015, 1209)
