'Social equity applicant' means an applicant for the issuance or renewal of an adult-use cannabis establishment license for an independent cannabis consumption lounge who has been adversely affected by provisions of previous laws which criminalized activity relating to cannabis, as determined by the Board in accordance with the regulations adopted pursuant to NRS 678B.323. Such adverse effects may include, without limitation, adverse effects on an owner or officer of the applicant. (Added to NRS by 2021, 2357)
