Statute 679b 160

1. The Commissioner may create advisory councils and committees to assist the Commissioner in dealing with regulatory problems. The Commissioner may appoint members and may provide by rule for the creation, governance, duties and termination of any council or committee the Commissioner establishes. 2. The Commissioner may create at least one advisory council to represent the consumer interest in insurance, to be made up of members with no substantial interest in any aspect of the insurance industry, except as insureds.
