Statute 687b 830

1. A contract entered into for the purposes of a network plan between a participating provider of health care and the health carrier must not contain a provision that conflicts with any provision in the network plan or any requirement set forth in NRS 687B.600 to 687B.850, inclusive. 2. At the time a participating provider of health care signs a contract described in subsection 1, the health carrier and, if applicable, the intermediary shall notify the participating provider of health care of all provisions of the contract and all documents incorporated by reference in the contract. 3. While a contract described in subsection 1 is in force, the health carrier shall provide timely notice to the participating provider of health care of any changes to the provisions of the contract or the documents incorporated by reference in the contract that would result in a material change in the contract. 4. For the purposes of subsection 3, the contract must define what is to be considered timely notice and what is to be considered a material change. (Added to NRS by 2017, 2353; A 2019, 298)
