1. The provisions of NRS 683A.341, 683A.451, 683A.461 and 686A.010 to 686A.310, inclusive, apply to agents and sellers. 2. For the purposes of subsection 1, unless the context requires that a section apply only to insurers, any reference in those sections to 'insurer' must be replaced by a reference to 'agent' and 'seller.' 3. The provisions of NRS 679B.230 to 679B.300, inclusive, apply to sellers. Unless the context requires that a provision apply only to insurers, any reference in those sections to 'insurer' must be replaced by a reference to 'seller.' 4. The provisions of NRS 683A.301 apply to applicants for and holders of a seller’s certificate of authority. Unless the context requires that a provision apply only to an applicant for or holder of a license as a producer of insurance, any reference in that section to: (a) An 'applicant for a license as a producer of insurance' must be replaced by a reference to an 'applicant for a seller’s certificate of authority'; and (b) A 'licensee' must be replaced by a reference to a 'holder of a seller’s certificate of authority.'
