1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, an insurer or any agent or employee of an insurer who delivers or issues for delivery a policy of group health or blanket health insurance in this State shall not disclose to the policyholder or any agent or employee of the policyholder: (a) The fact that an insured is taking a prescribed drug or medicine; or (b) The identity of that drug or medicine. 2. The provisions of subsection 1 do not prohibit disclosure to an administrator who acts as an intermediary for claims for insurance coverage. (Added to NRS by 1989, 1978)
