1. A managed care organization that offers or issues a health care plan shall include in the plan: (a) Coverage of testing for, treatment of and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, including, without limitation, Chlamydia trachomatis, gonorrhea, syphilis, human immunodeficiency virus and hepatitis B and C, for all insureds, regardless of age. Such coverage must include, without limitation, the coverage required by NRS 695G.1705 and 695G.1714. (b) Unrestricted coverage of condoms for insureds who are 13 years of age or older. 2. A health care plan subject to the provisions of this chapter that is delivered, issued for delivery or renewed on or after January 1, 2024, has the legal effect of including the coverage required by subsection 1, and any provision of the plan that conflicts with the provisions of this section is void.
