1. To the extent that money is available for that purpose, each member of the Board who is not an officer or employee of the State of Nevada or a political subdivision of the State is entitled to receive a salary of not more than $80 per day, as fixed by the Executive Director, for each day or portion of a day spent on the business of the Board. 2. If sufficient money is available from federal grant funds or revenues generated by the Exchange, each member is entitled to receive the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally while attending meetings of the Board or otherwise engaged in the business of the Board.
