1. Any natural person who intends to apply for a license as a bail enforcement agent, bail solicitor or bail agent, other than a nonresident license as a bail agent, must personally take and pass a written examination of his or her competence to act as such. After passing the examination, the person may apply to the Commissioner for such a license. 2. The scope of the examination must be as broad as the bail bond business. 3. The examination must be administered by the Commissioner or an entity approved by the Commissioner. (Added to NRS by 1971, 1910; A 1981, 1810; 1997, 3387; 2023, 2650)
