1. 'Publication,' 'publish' or any term of similar import, except as otherwise qualified, means publication in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the municipality and the service district pertaining thereto, for at least once a week for 3 consecutive weeks by 3 weekly insertions, the first publication being at least 15 days prior to the designated hearing or other designated time or event. 2. The publication need not be made on the same day of the week in each of the 3 calendar weeks, but not less than 14 days shall intervene between the first and the last publication. 3. Any publication herein required shall be verified by the affidavit of the publisher which affidavit shall be filed with the municipal clerk. (Added to NRS by 1973, 473)
