'Ancillary services' means those generation services that: 1. Are necessary to support the transmission of energy and capacity from resources to loads while maintaining reliable operation of the transmission system of the electric utility; and 2. Are defined and established in applicable transmission tariffs on file with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3223)
