Statute 704b 110

'New electric resource' means the energy, capacity or ancillary services and any increased or additional energy, capacity or ancillary services which are able to be delivered to an eligible customer and are made available: 1. From an identifiable generation asset that is not owned by an electric utility or is not subject to contractual commitments to an electric utility that make the energy, capacity or ancillary services from the generation asset unavailable for purchase by an eligible customer; or 2. By way of market purchases through a provider of new electric resources. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3224; A 2019, 3522)
