Statute 706 169

1. The Department of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Public Safety shall regulate the activities of common and contract carriers of property other than fully regulated carriers and operators of tow cars. 2. The Department of Motor Vehicles shall regulate the licensing of private motor carriers of property used for private commercial enterprises on any highway in this State.
