Statute 706 882

1. The Director of the Department of Business and Industry shall appoint a Taxicab Administrator from a list of three names submitted to the Director by the Taxicab Authority. The Administrator serves at the pleasure of the Director. The Administrator is in the unclassified service of the State. 2. The Taxicab Authority may remove the Administrator for good cause shown. 3. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 284.143, the Taxicab Administrator shall devote the Administrator’s entire time and attention to the business of the Administrator’s office and shall not pursue any other business or occupation or hold any other office of profit.
