1. On the day specified in the notice for the hearing thereof, or at the next regular meeting of the board of county commissioners thereafter, all objections to the granting of such franchise shall be presented to the board of the county commissioners. 2. The board shall proceed at once with the consideration of the application, but may adjourn the hearing from time to time, not exceeding in all 30 days, until a final decision is reached.
