1. Upon the receipt of an application for the extension of the term of any franchise mentioned in NRS 709.250, the board of county commissioners shall: (a) Set the application for hearing at its next regular meeting thereafter. (b) Cause such notice thereof to be given as it may deem reasonable. 2. At the hearing objections to extending the term of the franchise may be heard and considered.
