§ 21-p-60

21-P:60 Local Highway Safety Programs. – I. The towns, village districts, school districts, cities, and counties are hereby authorized to establish highway safety programs. II. A school district providing comprehensive driver training programs in accordance with the federal statutory provisions assented to in and under RSA 21-P:56 shall be eligible for reimbursement of federal funds apportioned to this state for such programs. Aschool districtshall mean a town school district, a special school district, an incorporated school district operating within a city, a city operating a dependent school department, a cooperative school district, and an authorized regional enrollment (AREA) school. III. Each political subdivision enumerated herein which implements highway safety programs approved by the governor in accordance with the Highway Safety Act of 1966 is eligible for reimbursement of federal funds apportioned to this state for such programs.
