4:43 Naming of Certain Buildings and Formations. – I. No state park, bridge, mountain, road, river, or body of water under the control of the state, shall be renamed without legislative approval. II. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph I, if real estate is acquired by the state by gift or by purchase, and one of the requirements of the acquisition is that the real estate be named after a particular person or place, the real estate shall be so named without legislative approval. III. The commissioner of the department of natural and cultural resources may name certain buildings within the state park system, subject to the approval of governor and council.
