§ 48.6

48:6 Deputy. – The city councils may elect a deputy city clerk, who shall qualify in the same manner as city clerks, and who shall perform all the duties of the city clerk in case of absence by sickness, resignation or otherwise of the city clerk. Source. 1899, 90:1. PL 53:5. RL 65:5.
