483:7 Legislative Designation. – I. Any nomination approved by the commissioner shall require review and approval by the general court prior to inclusion in the program. Such action shall be filed as a bill in the next legislative session following the nomination. II. Any nomination which is forwarded to the general court for review and approval shall include: (a) A map showing the boundaries of the river or segment; (b) A report which specifies the values and characteristics which qualify the river or segment for designation; and (c) The classifications of the proposed designation pursuant to RSA 483:7-a.
