157-B:17 Exception. – Notwithstanding other provisions of this chapter any elevator or accessibility lift which is periodically inspected and tested for safety under a maintenance contract with the company which installed the elevator or accessibility lift shall be exempt from the annual inspection requirements of RSA 157-B:5, so long as the maintenance contract is effective, and the inspection certificate as provided in RSA 157-B:5 shall be posted in the elevator car or accessibility lift platform.
