158:9 Possession of Explosives. – No person shall leave, deposit or have in his custody or possession in any building used in whole or in part as a dwelling house, tenement house, apartment building, office building, shop or store, or in or within 500 feet of any building used in whole or in part as a school, theater, church, public building or other place of public assembly, any high explosive, such as and including dynamite, any explosive compound of which nitroglycerin forms a part, fulminate in bulk or dry condition, blasting caps, detonating fuses, black powder or other similar explosive, except as may be permitted by regulations issued pursuant to RSA 158.
