188-E:4-a Advisory Committees. – I. Each designated region shall have a regional advisory committee consisting of representatives from each sending district and the receiving district. Appointees from each district shall represent a reasonable balance of the career cluster areas in the region's approved career and technical education programs. Each regional advisory committee shall have at least 7 members representative of the districts and career and technical education areas and at least one member shall be a certified high school counselor. II. The regional advisory committee shall advise the receiving district school board on matters related to career and technical education but shall have no legal authority with respect to such board's responsibility.
