188-G:10 Penalty. – I. Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor if a natural person, or guilty of a felony if any other person. II. Whenever the commission determines that a person is violating any provision of this chapter or the rules adopted hereunder, the commission shall request the attorney general, or other appropriate official having jurisdiction, to provide appropriate relief. III. The commission, upon verifying that a school is operating without a license, shall issue a cease and desist order to such school. IV. The commission shall be notified whenever a cease and desist order is issued to a school, or if a school fails to provide the services required under a contract with any entity causing the bond to be forfeited, or if a school is required to have a license but is operating without a license.
