207:38 Abandoning a Wounded or Killed Human Being. – Any person who shall have shot and wounded or killed a human being shall forthwith render necessary assistance to the injured person and report immediately to the nearest conservation officer or law enforcement officer. Any person who knowingly fails to render such assistance shall be guilty of a class B felony and his license to hunt shall be revoked for life.
