259:79 Previously Registered Vehicle. – 'Previously registered vehicle' shall mean: I. For purposes of the provisions of this title relative to registration, a vehicle which has been registered to the same person or persons during the immediately preceding registration period; II. For purposes of the provisions of this title relative to certificate of title, a vehicle registered in this state on September 1, 1968, or a vehicle whose last registration before September 1, 1968, was in this state.
