265:23 One-Way Roadways and Roadways and Rotary Traffic Islands. – I. The commissioner of transportation may designate any way or any separate roadway under his jurisdiction for one-way traffic and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof. II. Upon a roadway designated and sign-posted for one-way traffic a vehicle shall be driven only in the direction designated. III. A vehicle passing around a rotary traffic island shall be driven only to the right of such island. IV. The fine for a violation of this section shall be $100. Source.
