[RSA 301-B:19 effective July 1, 2025.] RSA 301-B effective July 1, 2025, except for RSA 301-B:31 effective July 26, 2024. 301-B:19 Legal Representatives. – I. A New Hampshire DAO may authorize one or more legal representatives to undertake tasks that cannot be achieved on-chain, including the New Hampshire legal representative as required by RSA 301-B:9. The scope of authority delegated to legal representatives shall be set forth in the bylaws and may be limited to specific tasks, or may be more general. II. Legal representation of the New Hampshire DAO shall be carried out by a legal representative in the manner provided in the bylaws and as evidenced by an authorization displayed on a public forum, the validity of which shall be verifiable by a valid record on the blockchain of the New Hampshire DAO. III. A legal representative shall not be personally liable for acts done on behalf of the New Hampshire DAO. IV. A New Hampshire DAO shall appoint at least one legal representative who shall be the registered agent of the New Hampshire DAO in accordance with RSA 301-B:9. Source. 2024, 263:1, eff. July 1, 2025.
