330-C:24 Continuing Education. – I. As a prerequisite to renewal of licensure or certification, a licensee or certificate holder shall present satisfactory evidence of having met the continuing education requirements of this chapter. II. The continuing education requirements for renewal shall be: (a) For master licensed alcohol and drug counselors and licensed alcohol and drug counselors, 48 hours of approved continuing education in the 24 months subsequent to the date of licensure or re-licensure. (b) For licensed clinical supervisors, 6 hours of training in clinical supervision which may be incorporated into the hours needed for LADC re-licensure in the 24 months subsequent to the date of licensure or re-licensure. (c) For certified recovery support workers, 24 hours of approved continuing education in the 24 months subsequent to the date of certification or re-certification.
