§ 374-a-2-a

374-A:2-a Municipal Purchase and Distribution of Electricity. – Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a municipality may enter into an agreement with another municipality in order to jointly purchase electrical service from a facility or provider. Any municipality which enters into such an agreement may distribute electricity to any municipality which is a party to the agreement. Source. 1996, 192:1, eff. Aug. 2, 1996.
