App.A:9-51.1. Definitions As used in this act unless a different meaning clearly appears: (a) 'Disaster area' means any area of the State in which an emergency has been proclaimed to exist by the President of the United States or the Governor of the State. (b) 'Period of emergency' means a period terminating 6 months from the date an area was designated a disaster area. (c) 'Prohibited area' means the part or parts of a municipality subject to the municipal ordinance authorized by this act. L.1962, c. 44, s. 1.
