App.A:9-57.9. Notice of claim Written notice of claim for benefits under this act must be filed with the local defense council or with the district or regional office with which the injured civil defense volunteer is registered or with the Director of Civil Defense within thirty days after the date of injury or, if death results therefrom, within thirty days after death. Failure to give notice within the time hereinbefore set forth shall not invalidate any claim if it shall be shown not to have been reasonably possible to give such notice and that notice was given as soon as was reasonably possible.
