§ 1-1-13

1:1-13. Existing boards, commissions and public bodies continued No board, commission or public body, established pursuant to any referendum or otherwise and existing at the time when the Revised Statutes shall become effective, under any statute then in force, shall be abolished by the enactment of the Revised Statutes, and the inclusion in the Revised Statutes, by compilation, revision or otherwise, of any such act of the legislature or of the substance thereof, shall not be construed to authorize or require the reestablishment or reorganization of any such board, commission or public body.
