§ 1-1-28

1:1-28. Effect to be given certain statutory references upon taking effect of acts adopting new Titles 2A and 3A Any reference to a section or sections of Title 2 or Title 3 of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, included in any other title of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, or in any other statute which became effective prior to the effective date of the adoption of Title 2A, Administration of Civil and Criminal Justice, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one and Title 3A, Administration of Estates--Decedents and Others, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, and still remains in effect, shall be given effect on and after the date of the adoption of the said supplements to the Revised Statutes, consisting of Title 2A, Administration of Civil and Criminal Justice, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, and Title 3A, Administration of Estates--Decedents and Others, as revised in one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, as though the reference therein were made to the section or sections of the said Titles 2A and 3A which contains the statutory material formerly included in the said section or sections of

fifty-one, as though the reference therein were made to the section or sections of the said Titles 2A and 3A which contains the statutory material formerly included in the said section or sections of Titles 2 and 3 of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, and that for the purpose of determining the said corresponding sections, reference may be made to the said distribution tables. Where the statutory material formerly included in Titles 2 and 3 of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, is not included in the said Titles 2A and 3A and, therefore, not enacted in the said revisions of one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, references thereto in any other title of the Revised Statutes as amended and supplemented, or in any other statute which so became effective and remains in effect, shall cease to be operative and shall be deemed to be superseded.
