Bills passed over governor's veto; delivery to and filing by secretary of state If any bill, passed by both houses of the legislature and presented to the governor, and returned by him with his objections to the house in which it originated, shall nevertheless afterwards become a law in the manner prescribed by the constitution, the presiding officer of the house in which such bill originated shall deliver the same to the secretary of state, who shall file and keep the same in his office, with the other laws of the same sitting, as directed by section 1:2-5 of this title.
