13:1B-22. Powers and duties of Economic Council to be performed by Veterans' Services Council The Veterans' Services Council shall succeed to, and shall exercise and perform, the functions, powers and duties of the Economic Council of the existing Department of Economic Development under and pursuant to 'An act providing for housing for veterans of World War II and other people of the State and declaring an emergency in respect thereto,' approved October first, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six (P.L.1946, c. 323).
