13:1E-42.2. Assessment for inspection of major hazardous waste facility; schedule The Department of Environmental Protection is hereby authorized to make an assessment against any major hazardous waste facility that handles or disposes of hazardous wastes in an amount sufficient to cover the costs of the inspections required pursuant to section 1 of this act (C. 13:1E-42.1). Any such assessment shall be charged and collected in accordance with a fee schedule adopted by the department as a rule and regulation pursuant to the provisions of the 'Administrative Procedure Act,' P.L.1968, c. 410 (C. 52:14B-1 et seq.).
