Validation of fiduciary acts by foreign banks resulting from merger or consolidation Any fiduciary act, including but not by way of limitation, any conveyance of real property situated in this State, heretofore done by any foreign bank which resulted from a merger or consolidation of a foreign bank with one or more such other corporations lawfully authorized at the time of the merger or consolidation to do such fiduciary act, is hereby validated to the same extent as if such act had been done by the party to the merger or consolidation which was so lawfully authorized.
