No new corporations after May 1, 1935; law applicable to corporations doing other business No such corporations shall be incorporated after the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, to transact the business of life insurance on the assessment plan. All corporations, associations, companies or organizations, desiring to transact the business of life insurance upon any other plan than that defined in this chapter, shall comply with all the provisions of the general insurance laws.
