17B:26-38. Penalty Any person who delivers or issues for delivery to any person in this State any policy in willful violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding $500.00 for each offense to be collected by the commissioner in the name of the State in a summary proceeding in accordance with the Penalty Enforcement Law (N.J.S. 2A:58-1 et seq.).
