18A:66-26. Death benefit fund The members' death benefit fund shall be a fund in which shall be accumulated contributions from the compensation of members to provide for their additional death benefits under the provisions of section 18A:66-53. Upon the death of a member electing the additional death benefit, the additional death benefit payable shall be paid from the member's death benefit fund. L.1967, c.271.
