23:5-2. Sale of propagated trout or landlocked salmon; tagging Trout or landlocked salmon which has been artificially propagated may be sold at any time for food purposes, if properly tagged, pursuant to the authority and in accordance with regulations adopted by the board, or of any duly authorized board, commission or officer of another state in which the trout or landlocked salmon has been propagated. The tag shall be removed only by the consumer, and when so removed shall be destroyed.
